North Coventry Elementary Drama Club
Led by Our Owen J. Roberts High School Students

Get ready to shine on stage! Our Elementary Drama Club is an upbeat, creative program where young performers learn the basics of musical theatre—guided entirely by our talented high school drama students. Each week, participants will explore beginner-friendly singing techniques, stage presence, and choreography as they learn fun musical numbers from a variety of shows.

High school mentors plan and lead every session, serving as positive role models and creating a welcoming, high-energy environment. Through theatre games, vocal warm-ups, movement activities, and hands-on practice, students build confidence, teamwork skills, and a love for performing.

By the end of the program (February 17), students will have learned multiple songs and choreographed routines. Families will be invited to join us for a final showcase celebrating all their hard work and growth.

Drama Club members will also have the optional opportunity to perform a group number in the North Coventry Elementary Talent Show on Friday, February 27th (after attending a few talent show rehearsals). Additional information on these dates will be shared soon.

Please register only if your child is genuinely interested and excited to participate, as consistent attendance and enthusiasm help make the experience fun and successful for everyone involved.

- Students signed up for this activity are expected to stay for all dates unless the NC Office and instructors are informed or it is noted on PUP
