Mrs. Lori Palmer

Meet Our Instructional Coach

Mrs. Lori Palmer serves as the Instructional Coach at North Coventry Elementary School, where she supports both teachers and students in reaching their fullest potential. In her role, Mrs. Palmer works collaboratively with teachers to strengthen classroom instruction, support curriculum implementation, analyze student learning data, and promote best practices in teaching and learning. Her work directly supports high-quality instruction and student success across all grade levels.

Mrs. Palmer brings more than three decades of experience in education to North Coventry. She began her career as a classroom teacher, teaching first and second grades in the Owen J. Roberts School District for many years before transitioning into instructional coaching roles. She has served as a K–6 Math Coach and, since 2010, as a K–6 Instructional Coach at North Coventry Elementary School. Her deep understanding of elementary instruction allows her to effectively support teachers and students alike.

Mrs. Palmer earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Millersville University. She later completed both her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Principal Certification (K–12) at Immaculata University. She has also completed additional coursework at Penn State University in Special Education and Educational Leadership.

In addition to her work in the classroom and as a coach, Mrs. Palmer has demonstrated strong leadership through her service as President of the Roberts Education Association and Vice President of the East Vincent Elementary School PTA. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the National Education Association (NEA), Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA), Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), and Phi Delta Kappan.

Mrs. Palmer’s dedication to continuous improvement, collaboration, and student-centered learning makes her an invaluable part of the North Coventry Elementary School community.
