MTSS Coordinator (Multi-Tiered System of Supports)
Meet Our MTSS Coordinator
Mrs. Rachel Lemuell serves as the MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) Coordinator at North Coventry Elementary School. The name Mrs. Lemuell may be familiar to many students and families, as she previously worked in our building as a Math Specialist. After an academic sabbatical last year, we are excited to welcome her back to North Coventry this fall in this important new role.
As MTSS Coordinator, Mrs. Lemuell helps ensure that all students receive the support they need to be successful—academically, behaviorally, and socially-emotionally. She works closely with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate meaningful conversations about student progress and needs. By carefully reviewing and using student data, Mrs. Lemuell helps identify strengths, areas for growth, and appropriate supports for students.
Mrs. Lemuell’s role is centered on collaboration and problem-solving. She helps coordinate interventions, monitor progress, and connect students with resources that support learning both in the classroom and beyond. Her work plays a key role in creating a responsive, supportive school environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
North Coventry Elementary is proud to have Mrs. Lemuell supporting our students, staff, and families through the MTSS process.

What Is MTSS?
MTSS stands for Multi-Tiered System of Supports. It is a school-wide approach used to make sure all students get the help they need to succeed—academically, behaviorally, and socially-emotionally.
Through MTSS, teachers and staff:
-
Use student data to understand strengths and areas for growth
-
Provide different levels of support based on individual student needs
-
Monitor progress and adjust supports as needed
-
Work together with families to support student success
Most students succeed with strong classroom instruction. Some students may need extra support for a short time, while others may need more targeted or ongoing support. MTSS helps ensure that supports are provided early and thoughtfully so students can continue to grow and learn with confidence.
MTSS is about meeting students where they are and helping every child reach their full potential.
