It’s open enrollment season, and we want to be sure families are aware of Pennsylvania’s Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). For more than 20 years, CHIP has provided free or low-cost health insurance to uninsured children and teens up to age 19.
CHIP Coverage Includes:
-
Routine checkups and preventive care
-
Prescription medications
-
Hospital care
-
Dental care
-
Vision and eye care
CHIP offers comprehensive coverage and helps reduce the burden of healthcare costs for families whose children are not eligible for Medical Assistance. Enrollment is simple, and many families qualify for free or low-cost plans.
