Meet the School Counselor

Hello North Coventry families!

My name is Ms. Kelly Haines, and I am so excited to be the school counselor here at North Coventry Elementary School. It is truly a joy to be part of such a caring and supportive community!

Before joining North Coventry, I worked as a long-term substitute school counselor in the West Chester Area School District at Graystone Elementary School. Prior to that, I served as a long-term substitute at Tredyffrin–Easttown Middle School, which allowed me to gain experience supporting students from kindergarten through eighth grade. These experiences have helped shape my passion for meeting students where they are and supporting them at every stage of development.

I am deeply passionate about student mental health, social-emotional learning, and helping children grow into confident, kind, and resilient learners. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Arcadia University and my Master’s degree in Counseling from Villanova University.

As the school counselor, I work closely with students, families, teachers, and staff to support academic success, emotional well-being, and positive school experiences. I provide individual and small-group counseling, classroom lessons, and help connect families with additional resources when needed. My work aligns with and supports the goals of the Owen J. Roberts School District.

Outside of school, I love traveling, attending live music events, and spending time with friends and family. I am truly looking forward to getting to know our students and families and becoming an active part of the North Coventry community.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out. I am always happy to help!
