Title I Program 2024–2025

At Owen J. Roberts School District, we believe in “inspiring each student for success today and greatness tomorrow.” To achieve this mission, it is essential to build a strong partnership between home and school. This compact outlines how families, students, and the school work together to support student learning and success.

The School/Teacher Will:

  • Provide research-based curriculum and instruction in a supportive environment that helps students meet state academic standards.

  • Offer opportunities for family involvement and volunteering.

  • Provide parent/guardian training and support to help reinforce learning at home.

  • Communicate with families about student academic growth at least three times per year.

  • Share information about the teachers and staff providing instruction.

The Parent/Guardian/Family Will:

  • Create a supportive home environment that allows students to practice and reinforce concepts learned at school.

  • Stay informed about school policies, activities, and events.

  • Participate in and attend school events whenever possible.

The Student Will:

  • Take personal responsibility for their own learning and academic growth.

  • Record homework in a planner and bring home necessary materials to complete assignments.

This compact is reviewed and updated annually during the fall Title I Family Meeting.
